Get Yourself Unstuck!

Feeling ‘stuck’ in your business.

It’s as though you’ve hit a brick wall and can’t go any further.

Where it all feels too hard, and it shows up as resistance or procrastination.

The same tasks stay on the To Do list and roll over from one week to the next. Groundhog day!

When it happens, it’s frustrating and we don’t feel like we’re moving forward or making progress. Perhaps you’re going through it a bit at the moment, and if so, this is really going to help you out.

And by the way, it’s totally normal for that feeling of stuckness to happen. For goodness sake, none of us are robots, are we? We’re human, and so it’s very natural to go through these ebbs and flows.

But one of the key components to being a happy healthy entrepreneur is taking regular, and consistent action, little steps each and every day.

And wouldn’t it be nice to give yourself a helping hand when you’re in that place of stuckness, so you can get yourself moving again, and not lose too much of that precious time you have each week to work on your business?

In this week’s podcast, I’m going to guide you through the 6 most helpful questions to take you from a place of overwhelm to action in your business (and your life).

Once you know these questions, you can use them to coach yourself, so that you never have to feel stuck again, if you don’t want to.

About me, Sarah Swanton & Happy Healthy Entrepreneur

Hello, I’m Sarah, and I’m a Podcaster and the founder of Happy Healthy Entrepreneur, where I support entrepreneurs with their mental health and wellbeing, so they can enjoy the self-employment journey, and have a business that supports them, not exhausts them!

Because when you think about it, what’s the alternative? Possible burnout, or have to go back and get a J.O.B which is no fun for anyone, if all you really want is to be in business for yourself, earning a healthy sustainable income, doing what it is you love.

I’m also creating a brand new online course which is focused on mindset, and designed to help entrepreneurs get out of their own way so they can make their business vision a reality. If you’d like to be part of this group of solopreneurs, then please put your name down, and I’ll make sure you hear all about it, as soon as it’s ready to go.

Finally, if you think our values are aligned, and you’d like to chat about the idea of collaborating on a project together, or coming to speak at one of your events, please get in touch, sarah@sarahswanton.com, I always love to hear from like-minded souls!

It takes a ‘village’ to grow a business: in conversation with Lenka Koppova

“You need a team. You can’t build a successful business on your own, and being a solopreneur means it will always be you, and you will always have to work really hard. Get the right team on board, do not try to do everything on your own. Do not spend days trying to figure out something, that someone could figure out in five minutes!”

I’m delighted to welcome Lenka Koppova who is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast.  Read more

Pricing & Charging Your Worth: in conversation with Karen Arnott

“My advice to anyone starting out is to charge more. Nobody I know starting out, charges enough. I think it’s critical to know your worth and I think most people, particularly women, don’t give ourselves credit for our experience and skills.”

I’m delighted to welcome Karen Arnott who is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast.  Read more

Procrastination & Fear Of Rejection: in conversation with Vendulka Battais

“If there is something you want to do, stop thinking about it, and just go and do it, because you will not know the result until you do it. I remember when I first moved to Suffolk, and it took me a year, to approach Inner Guidance Retreat Centre, about selling our art pieces. When I actually got the courage, Jo (De Rosa) said ‘you are the perfect match, you are the person we were waiting for!’ and I thought why did it take me a year!”

I’m delighted to welcome Vendulka Battais who is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast.  Read more

“I am enough, exactly as I am” – in conversation with Helen Rebello

“I am enough exactly as I am, and I don’t have to bend myself to fit in, or become ‘more’ or something I’m not. Every one of us is this unique, incredible miracle”

I’m delighted to welcome Helen Rebello who is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast.  Read more

Ideas are great, but action is what moves you forward – in conversation with Nicola Semple

“We are in business, this isn’t a hobby. We are in business to provide a good income for ourselves and our families, and to do that we have to get the balance right, between focusing on revenue generation and making sure we are following work that lights us up and pursuing our passions”

Nicola Semple is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast. Nicola has been a solo-entrepreneur now, for 5 years. Read more

Age Just Isn’t An Issue. It’s All About Attitude! – in conversation with Pat Duckworth

“It’s not enough to dream this stuff, and just have positive visualisation, you have to take the steps, and once you start taking the steps, the Universe comes in behind you and gives you a good push”

Pat Duckworth is this week’s guest on the Happy Healthy Entrepreneur Podcast. Pat is a midlife mentor, author and international public speaker. After over 30 years working in the public and voluntary sector at a senior management level, Pat discovered her entrepreneurial mojo in her mid-50s and retrained as a therapist and coach. Read more

“You have to back yourself, and trust” – in conversation with Darren Lawrence

“Back yourself. Hold your nerve. If things aren’t happening, but you are sure of the direction you want to be in, hold your nerve. There is so much work out there, so just focus on the work that is going to give you the most enjoyment. And don’t wait for things to happen!”
